The Portland Cultural Dance Collective (PCDC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to celebrating, preserving, and sharing the joy of dance and movement arts. By taking over the operations of the beloved Vitalidad Movement Arts Center (VMAC), PCDC aims to carry forward its legacy while expanding its reach and impact in the Portland community. Our vision is to make dance and movement accessible to all, fostering inclusivity, creativity, and cultural connection.

Our mission at the Portland Cultural Dance Collective is to empower individuals and strengthen community bonds through the transformative power of dance and movement arts. We strive to:

• Increase Accessibility: Provide scholarships and financial assistance to ensure that no student is turned away due to financial constraints.
• Engage the Community: Create diverse workshops, community events, and outreach programs that celebrate the rich tapestry of cultural dance traditions.
